What we do

The Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) Business Unit provides consulting and implementation services that focus on digital transformation and innovative processes to improve the finance and accounting function for international insurance and banking companies. We are SAP’s preferred FPSL solution integrator and offer functional and technical expertise, project methodologies, accelerators and templates, system training, and ongoing maintenance support. Our FPSL team covers all areas of implementation, data integration, and reporting. As one of the largest FPSL teams in the world, we employ consultants, data scientists, software engineers, and industry experts.

What you will do

Develop modern cloud application with Typescript (v.4+), Node.js (v.16+), NestJS.

What we are looking for

Requirements

Very strong skills with modern JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js: NestJS, TypeORM, Express.js; React: Redux, GoJS; Jest)
SAP Hana DB
SAP Cloud Platform (SAP BTP)
Experience with SAP CAP
Experience with OData (CDS).
Cloud Foundry, K8S, Docker JavaScript ecosystem, Typescript and Node.js
Commercial experience in web development (Node.js / Express) 4+ years
Fluency in English, written and spoken
Independent individual focused on getting things done

Nice to have

Familiarity with Jest / other testing libraries
Experience with popular public cloud services (AWS, Azure)
Experience with React functional components, hooks and context API
Experience working with 3rd party libraries (we work with TypeORM)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines setup
Knowledge of Design Patterns / Best Practices
Fluency in German
