Technical Presales Manager for Controlling and Performance Management (m/f)

Our Technical Presales Manager for Controlling and Performance Management will manage a team that is responsible for demonstrating product capabilities as part of an overall presales process. You have broad knowledge of controlling processes cross-industry as well as strong IT affinity with no hesitations to get hands-on with the software.

As Technical Presales Manager you will be customer facing, accepting and understanding requirements and transforming these requirements into excellent software demos together with your team. These demos are run worldwide, sometimes onsite and sometimes remote. Excellent English is imperative, other languages are an advantage.

 

What will you do?

  • Accept and analyze customer requirements for demos, and respond to these requirements in the form of presentations or demos
  • Use project management skills to ensure that demos are ready on time and with excellent content
  • Ability not just to understand and respond to the customer, but also to steer the team functionally and technically to achieve the desired results
  • Build and manage a best in class technical sales team
  • Identify, recruit and develop top talent for the sales team

 

What experiences you should have?

  • Advanced degree (MBA, M.A., or PH.D) in computer science, business, finance or economics
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Controlling/Performance Management and IT roles
  • Controlling experience across multiple industries is an advantage
  • IT experience with controlling software is an advantage
  • Exposure to SAP HANA is an advantage
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High quality standards for all external communication
  • Fluent in English
  • Advanced degree (MBA, M.A., or PH.D) in computer science, business, finance or economics
