What we do

The Business Unit SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) provides architecture, deployment, implementation, training, and consulting services for profitability and sustainability management solutions based on SAP’s analytics applications SAP PaPM, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC). We co-develop SAP PaPM with SAP and develop content and solution packages which provide standardized functionalities for various use cases and industries. Our team combines functional, technical, and industrial expertise on a variety of topics, for instance, cost allocations, intercompany transfer pricing, product and service costing, IT costing, tax calculation and reporting, funds and liquidity transfer pricing, cost-to-serve, planning simulation, and sustainability. What you will do

  • Work in a team of Analytics Engineers, Business and Technology Subject Matter Experts, and Data Scientists to develop analytical solutions and services for real world business scenarios and challenges.

  • Analyze customers’ business needs and requirements, as well as data from various industries, vendors and other sources; deliver high-quality analysis results according to the underlying business needs and scenarios.

  • Formulate original understanding and profound insights from the analysis, translate them into technical requirements, design and develop high-performance analytical solutions embodied in SAP PaPM and other SAP applications.

  • Design and develop compelling and descriptive stories with data visualizations out of results, transform datasets into self-explanatory and easy-to-read reports and dashboards for decision making of business users.

  • Validate the analytical solutions and assure their quality and interpretability; Package them into SAP PaPM to deliver business values to customers.

  • Collaborate with and provide support to customers and partners in the process of developing new use cases, services and solutions with SAP PaPM.

 

 
 What we are looking for

 

  • University degree in business analysis, business IT, data engineering, data science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field at the time of application.
  • 2+ year industrial work experience of designing analytical solutions with conventional analytics platforms, SAP PaPM or SAC are preferred.
  • Experience using business intelligence tools such as SAP BOBI, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik or similar.
  • Experience with scripting and data analysis packages like SQL, Python, R, or JavaScript is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen with proven track of solving real world business challenges.
  • Intellectually curious self-starter with passion for analytics, ability to learn quickly, and willingness to develop a deep understanding of our solution SAP PaPM.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills - effectively evaluates information/data and communicates insights to support stakeholders in making decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve.
  • Attention to detail with a willingness to follow a rigorous quality process.
  • Ability to work team-oriented and organized, with the proven ability to manage multiple tasks with a broad range of stakeholders to deliver results in a dynamic and high-performance environment with short deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Good to excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to articulate issues, give presentations, and prepare formal written reports.
