The Business Unit Offshore is a special unit compared to other BU’s in msg global because we are domain and technology agnostic, catering to all industry and technology areas. The Offshore Unit is looking for colleagues who want to successfully shape our clients' future in the digital age. We provide consulting, development, and application maintenance services for the EMEA and NA regions in technologies like the Java ecosystem, C++, Mobility solution, SAP Core, Testing Services, and Agile & DevOps for various industries. Our international team of experts is shaping the future of IT services. 

 

What you will do 
 

  • Be responsible for super-charging our product development and delivery by automating our deploy system, infrastructure architecture and application monitoring 
  • Design and implementation of architecture and operations processes 
  • Actively collaborate with the software development & quality assurance teams 
  • Implementation and administration of security solutions (incident management) 
  • Structured error/problem analysis 
  • Mentor Junior Team members and provide advice when needed. 
  • Be a front end for the customer for deliveries and any team related issues. 
  • Be a hands-on developer and also be responsible for team’s performance.  
     

What we are looking for 
  

In-depth knowledge of: 

  • Experience with working with the following main programming languages, technologies, frameworks, and tools: 
  • Java 11 
  • Junit Mocking 
  • MSSQL,  
  • Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) concepts. 
  • JPA / Hibernate,  
  • Maven 
  • Git 
  • Jenkins 
  • Sonar 
  • Proven experience in C++ in Windows environment 
  • Strong understanding of multithreading concepts and experience in developing multithreaded applications. 
  • Knowledge on Enterprise Architect added advantage. 
  • STL and MFC is a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably computer science) or other equivalent experience 
  • Proactivity and living the Scrum Values 
  • Attention to clean code principles. 
  • Project involvement through all phases (end to end)  
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication along with strong client relationship skills (assertiveness and feedback belong here) 
  • Excellent time-management skills 
  • Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving skills. 
  • Fluent in English (oral and in writing)
