The Business Unit Business Technology Services is a special unit compared to other BU’s in msg global because we are domain and technology agnostic, catering to all industry and technology areas. The BTS Unit is looking for colleagues who want to successfully shape our clients' future in the digital age. We provide consulting, development, and application maintenance services for the EMEA in technologies like the Java ecosystem, ReactJS, Testing Services, and Agile & DevOps for various industries. Our international team of experts is shaping the future of IT services.
Our clients are leading Germany based Automotive manufacturers both in the passenger car and commercial vehicle domains.

What you will do

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements and new features for enterprise-grade applications.

Tackle complex technical challenges and optimize application performance across both frontend and backend systems.

Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices and modern web interfaces.

Ensure adherence to coding standards and practices including testing, version control, and documentation.

Contribute to product backlog refinement, estimations, and Sprint planning ceremonies.

Demonstrate proactiveness in code quality (Clean Code, SOLID principles), peer reviews, and continuous improvement.

Engage actively in Scrum ceremonies and workshops for requirement analysis, planning, and retrospectives.

Participate in end-to-end project phases including design, development, testing, and deployment.

Keep current with emerging technologies and industry trends to bring innovative solutions to the table.

 

 What we are looking for

Requirements:

  • Minimun 4 years of experience is required

Frontend Skills (React Ecosystem):

Proficiency in React and JavaScript (TypeScript exposure is a plus)

Familiarity with Material-UI (MUI Core, DataGrid, DatePicker, etc.)

Knowledge of Redux and form state management (e.g., Redux-Form)

Understanding of RESTful architecture, Promises/Async-Await

Familiarity with Webpack, Git, ESLint, Prettier

Experience with Microfrontends and internationalization (i18n)

 

Backend Skills (Java Ecosystem):

Strong proficiency in Java and backend development

Experience with build tools (Maven or Gradle)

Familiarity with Spring Boot or Quarkus frameworks

Knowledge of Hibernate and Postgres SQL

Experience with REST APIs and microservice architecture

Version control using Git

Monitoring & DevOps:

Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch, Jaeger

 

 Nice to have

Experience in the automotive industry

Cloud platform exposure (Azure, AWS, etc.)

Certifications in relevant technologies

Understanding of testing strategies (System, Integration, Load Testing)

German language proficiency is an advantage
