What will you do
As an SAP BTP Integration Suite specialist, you will analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient integration solutions. Leveraging SAP’s Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), you will design and develop integrations using APIs and connectors, enabling seamless communication between SAP and non-SAP systems.
You will work extensively with core SAP modules, S4HANA public and Private Cloud and SAP & Non-SAP systems integration, ensuring reliable data exchange and business process continuity. Your responsibilities will include working with technologies such as JSON, XML, XSLT, REST, and SOAP, as well as navigating the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) landscape to build and maintain robust integration architectures.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex integration issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication will be essential to your success in delivering high-quality, enterprise-grade integration solutions.

SAP BTP Integration Suite – Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite and SAP PI/PO.
- Architect and deliver integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems using REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, APIs, SFTP, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Lead end-to-end integration projects from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, hypercare, and production support.
- Drive SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite migration initiatives, including assessment, redesign, implementation, and cutover planning.
- Design API-led, microservices-based, and event-driven integration architectures utilizing API Management, Event Mesh, and other SAP BTP services.
- Develop and govern complex iFlows, advanced message mappings, XSLT transformations, Groovy scripts, reusable frameworks, and exception handling mechanisms.
- Design and govern SAP S/4HANA integration connectivity, including Communication Arrangements, Communication Systems, Cloud Connector, OAuth2 authentication, certificates, and API-based integrations.
- Administer SAP BTP Cockpit, including subaccounts, entitlements, service instances, destinations, security artifacts, and platform governance.
- Establish integration monitoring, logging, alerting, operational support frameworks, and best practices.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical production incidents and performance issues.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and project teams to define integration roadmaps and solution strategies.
- Mentor and guide integration consultants and developers through technical leadership, code reviews, and best-practice recommendations.
- Contribute to, technical proposals, architecture reviews.
Technical Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 7+ years of SAP Integration experience.
- Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP Integration Suite implementation projects with full lifecycle delivery experience.
- Proven experience leading SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite migration projects.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI).
- Experience with SAP API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors, Integration Advisor, and SAP Master Data Integration (MDI), TPM.
- Expertise in REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, XML, JSON, XSLT, Groovy, and Java-based integrations.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, Private Cloud, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba and related SAP applications.
- Experience with Cloud Foundry, hybrid-cloud architectures, and cloud-to-cloud integrations.
- Strong understanding of OAuth2, SAML, Principal Propagation, Certificates, Cloud Connector, and SAP BTP security concepts.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, transport management, and automated deployment processes.
- Experience implementing enterprise integration governance and operational support models.
