At msg global solutions, our Business Unit Sustainability helps clients worldwide achieve their sustainability goals through advisory, consulting, implementation, training, and architecture services. Specializing in SAP analytics solutions like SCT, PaPM, and SFM, we enable organizations to measure, manage, and optimize sustainability efforts with advanced reporting and analytics. With a global, diverse team and deep expertise in sustainability frameworks (CSRD, IFRS, EU Taxonomy, GHG Protocol, etc.), we support clients across industries in enhancing compliance, improving data transparency, and driving meaningful environmental and social impact.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Stay on top of the latest sustainability laws, frameworks, and best practices;

  • Help clients set their sustainability goals and design impactful system solutions that connect financial data with environmental impact;

  • Deliver both technical and functional consulting across different industries—such as finance, agriculture, energy, and manufacturing;

  • Build and manage models using SAP tools like Sustainability Control Tower (SCT), Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM), and Sustainability Footprint Management (SFM);

  • Ensure smooth project delivery by meeting timelines, quality standards, and client expectations;

  • Depending on your experience level, you’ll either lead or support sustainability initiatives—from early-stage proposals to full implementation;

  • Work closely with a collaborative, high-performing consulting team to create innovative, forward-thinking solutions;

  • Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to align on goals, manage feedback, and ensure long-term value.

 

What We’re Looking For

 

 

  • A degree in IT, Business, or a similar field – bonus points if you also have knowledge of sustainability or environmental topics;
  • Experience in consulting, either in IT or sustainability (or both, depending on your level);
  • Comfortable in client-facing roles and confident managing relationships with various stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills;
  • Familiar with ESG topics, GHG accounting, CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, or climate policies – ideally paired with some IT experience;
  • Skilled in using business analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, SAP (SCT/SFM/SAC), or Qlik;
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus;
  • Creative, adaptable, and hands-on when it comes to solving problems;
  • Able to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results.
