We are seeking a dynamic and motivated HR Generalist to join our team as a maternity leave replacement for a fixed-term contract lasting 1.5 years. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact while providing essential coverage during this period.
What you will do
- Support local employees and managers with queries on various HR matters
- Handle day-to-day activities of human resources along the employee lifecycle
- Conduct monthly payroll process, benefits, and time management (sick & vacation leave recording) in close collaboration with external vendors for Serbia and provide support to additional countries in Eastern Europe
- Support annual compensation review and bonus payment process
- Managing and maintaining employee records in the HRIS software SAP SuccessFactors and make sure it’s updated
- Preparation of various HR documents and HR internal communication including New Hire Guides, employment contracts, addendums and other
- Support individual requests related to global mobility such as relocations or international project assignments of employees
- Ensure compliance with legal and social HR regulations , optimal and up to date local HR policies, processes and tools in line with global HR, local requirements and country legislation and make sure they are correctly executed and adhered to
- Communication and coordination with external Law Office
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's or master’s degree (in economy, legal, human resources, business administration or similar)
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in human resources with a focus in administration and payroll
- Legal knowledge (Labor Law)
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic, pro-active and ability to solve problems
- Strong analytical skills with high accuracy level and attention to detail
- Advanced in English and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Teamwork attitude and flexibility
