What we do

The Finance Business Unit provides consulting and implementation services that focus on digital transformation and innovative processes to improve the finance and accounting function for international insurance and banking companies. We are SAP’s preferred solution integrator and offer functional and technical expertise, project methodologies, accelerators and templates, system training, and ongoing maintenance support.


Our Finance team covers all areas of implementation, data integration, and reporting. As one of the largest Finance teams in the world, we employ consultants, data scientists, software engineers, and industry experts.

What you will do

  • Requirements - Lead requirements, design, and blueprint workshops
  • Documentation - Own business requirements documents, functional specifications, and configuration documents
  • Lead other msg resources in configuration of SAP FPSL
  • Guide and support customer for dedicated topics
  • Support Integration topics from business requirement perspective
  • Support Training and Test phases including transition to production support
  • Ensure system implementation is as per requirements and Business Blueprint
  • Successfully prepare and present demos to showcase msg Global and SAP processes and tools

What we are looking for


  • 5+ years of work experience in Finance, Accounting, or Risk departments in the Financial Services Industry
  • 3+ years implementation, or production support, and/or operations for SAP ECC and/or S/4 HANA for Financial Services modules (example FI-GL, FI-AP/AR, FI-AA, FI-CO, FS-FPSL/AFI)
  • Financial Services Regulatory reporting experience (IFRS / GAAP)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Strong ability to be creative, flexible, and adaptable in a changing work and technical environment
  • Ability to work well in a team environment onsite with the customer or remotely
  • Experience as a consultant in an SAP FPSL project in Banking and/or Insurance industry is a strong advantage
  • Experience in SAP modules for Banking, including operational systems (example FS-CML, FS-Loans/Deposits Management) or previous versions of FPSL (i.e. Bank Analyzer, AFI, sAFI) is a strong advantage
  • Experience and/or understanding in financial accounting and reporting practices (IFRS / GAAP)
  • Accounting designation (CA/CPA/etc.) is an advantage but is not required
  • Understanding of Banking products and processes
  • Fluent in English and German
