What we do​
​The SAP for Insurance (S4i) Business Unit provides consulting and implementation services that focus on end-to-end operational solutions and digital transformation for international insurance companies. Our main service portfolio covers system architecture, design, implementation, integration, testing, and ongoing support for SAP’s core insurance applications, including SAP Policy Management, SAP Product and Quotation Management, msg Product Manager, SAP Claims Management, SAP Incentives and Commission Management, SAP Commission, and SAP Collections and Disbursements.

Our functional and technical SAP insurance solution team covers all areas of insurance operations, including underwriting, policy administration, claims, commissions, finance, accounting, and reporting. As one of the largest S4i teams in the world, we employ SAP frontend/backend developers, S4i consultants, SAP integration consultants, and insurance industry experts.

 

What you will do

​

  • Responsible for technical design, coding, unit testing, technical documentation, and walkthroughs for all assigned SAP related projects to support company business and operational needs.
  • Ensures software development follows the defined programming standards and follows the code /design review processes.
  • To do software design, development, and package implementation using SAP ABAP.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

 


What we are looking for​

Requirements​

  • You should have at least a minimum 1 year of experience in SAP ABAP development, experience in Insurance domain is an advantage
  • OO ABAP – a strong conceptual knowledge
  • Expertise in creating ABAP Data dictionary Objects
  • Development experience in BAPI
  • Strong experience in RICEFW (Reports, Interface, Conversions, Exit, Forms, and Workflow)
  • Hands-on in Enhancements (BADI and Exit)
  • Hands-on in SAP Conversion programs like BDCs or LSMW
  • Hands-on in Scripts, Smart forms, and Adobe forms
  • Hands-on in User exits, customer exits, and search exits
  • Knowledge in Module pool programming
  • Ability to do provide performance analysis and prerequisites
  • Ability to understand the functional requirements directly from Users/Clients and translate them to technical specifications.
  • Higher relevant education degree (Economics, Information Technology or equivalent)
  • Flexible for both domestic and international short term / long term travel.

 

Nice to have​

  • Experience in SAP for Insurance and Reinsurance modules like FS-PM, FS-CM, FS-ICM, FS-CD, and FS-RI is a significant plus.
  • SAP Certification is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of BDT (Business Data Toolset) and BRF (Business Rules framework).
  • Experience in Webdynpro.
