Company Nurse/HR Assistant

What you will do
The Company Nurse / HR Assistant is responsible for the Healthcare Management of MSG Global Solutions Philippines, Inc’s employees through compliance with Occupation Safety and Health Standards. Company Nurse / HR Assistant is also tasked in facilitating the healthcare benefits and engagements, as well as the execution of other HR-related tasks such as recruitment, onboarding, training and other tasks as may be assigned.
- Healthcare Management and Compliance
- Act as a Safety Officer to implement and train the occupational health and safety standards in the work place.
- Administers first-aid and nursing-care related interventions.
- Manages the maintenance of office clinic, medical equipment, and medicine supplies through regular inventory check.
- Checks Pre-employment Medical Examination, issuance of fit-to-work clearances, and facilitates Annual Physical Examination
- Submits Reportorial Requirements such as Worker’s Illness and Accident Report, Annual Physical Examination Report, and others as required
- Ensures up-to-date compliance to Occupation Safety and Health standards
- Ensures up-to-date compliance with local government units and statutory agencies related to healthy and safety of employees, such as Health Certificate and Sanitary Permit, and other related requirements.
- Health Care Benefits Administration
- Oversee the enrollment and processing of HMO/ Health card Insurance; Monitor utilization reports and coordinates with the HMO provider for necessary actions
- Facilitates processing of SSS Sickness Benefit, SSS Maternity Benefit, PhilHealth Claims, etc., and other government related-benefits
- Facilitates processing of Group Life Insurance Enrollment, Claims and other concerns
- Employee Engagement and Retention Programs
- Organizes and facilitates mandatory health and safety training such us Mental Health in the Workplace, HIV/AIDS Awareness, Tuberculosis Awareness, Hepatitis B Awareness, Drug Abuse Awareness and Wellness sessions
- Organizes and facilitates employee engagement and wellness programs such as company outings, year-end parties, etc.
- Human Resources
- Sources, screens, and facilitate job offer for the resourcing requirements.
- Facilitates onboarding for new joiners
- Assists on training related programs and other employee-related activities.
What we are looking for
- 3-5 years of related work experience as a Company Nurse and/or HR Assistant
- Registered Nurse/ Has completed Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Must have completed Training in Basic Occupational Safety and Health, preferrably a Safety Officer II
- Knowledge in Occupation Health & Safety standards
- Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience on benefits administration and events facilitation
- Has good communication skills
