What We Do

 

Our Sales and Business Development is responsible for selling to both new and existing customers. Assesses customer needs and suggest products, services, and solutions. Our team has strong relationships with SAP and with other partner companies. The Sales and Business Development develops and delivers sales recommendations to prospects and customers, is responsible for identifying prospective customers, qualifying, building, and managing opportunity pipeline, building relationships, and maintaining customers and is also responsible for the design, development, and implementation of sales and business development initiatives to meet our business goals.

 

What you will do

  • Engage with targeted prospective customers to identify where current business processes need support as well as identify entirely new opportunities and position msg’s solutions to unlock identified value.
  • Build, maintain and improve relations with existing and potential customers
  • Plan and coordinate sales and business development activities in collaboration with our presales teams
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with strategic partners in particular with our key partner SAP and support solution enablements and opportunity identification.
  • Develop and own coordinated account planning and opportunity planning process.
  • Maintain msg global’s internal opportunity pipeline processes and tools.  
  • Support the preparation of RFI and RFP responses.
  • Deliver highly effective presentations to our prospective customers including C-level executives and decision makers including Chief Technical Officers, Chief Information Officers, Chief Financial Officers, Chief Risk Officers, and senior leaders in finance, operations, supply chain, sales, and other business functions.
  • Work closely with SAP and other partners to qualify and develop business opportunities.
  • Lead or support new opportunity internal approval processes.
  • Lead contract negotiations with the customer (direct or as subcontractor) – Master Services Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Statements of Work, contract extensions, etc.
  • Follow up after contract signature acting as the voice of the customer to ensure customer satisfaction for msg-lead implementations.
  • As Business Development Manager, work with project teams to identify new opportunities on existing accounts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and market developments to stay competitive in the market.
  • Attend and network relevant business events.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What we are looking for

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field or equivalent year of experience
  • A minimum of five years consultative sales experience into Fortune 2000 companies, ideally in selling software implementation services
  • Working knowledge of the SAP Solution suite.
  • Positive attitude, high motivation, innovative thinking, and passion for creating value for customers
  • Success selling into the highest levels of accounts with a focus on the C-Suite
  • Business acumen and knowledge of multiple industries such as insurance, banking, agribusiness, consumer goods, energy, retail, transportation, and other verticals
  • Track record of overachieving sales quota & targets, including shown history of multiple seven-figure annual contract value (ACV) deals
  • Strong senior executive network in your territory with customers, SAP and other partners in the relevant industry
  • Proven communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish and ability to maintain solid network and relationships
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 80%
