The Reinsurance Business Unit delivers expert implementation services for SAP S/4HANA Insurance, helping organizations worldwide overcome challenges in ceded and assumed reinsurance. Leveraging proven methodologies and best practices, our team guides clients through every stage of the implementation process, driving automation in premiums, loss reserves, commission calculations, claims processing, and reporting.

We are looking for a Technical Consultant Trainee to join our team to support technical aspects of SAP Reinsurance Management projects. This role is designed for candidates who are eager to learn and develop skills in data migration, UI5 development, and integration tasks, while building strong technical capabilities and a consulting mindset.

 

What you will do

​​

  • Understand the different phases of SAP Reinsurance Management implementation (design, documentation, testing, training).
  • Develop knowledge of SAP’s newest and future solutions.
  • Develop an understanding of msg’s IT proprietary product and service offerings while applying general insurance and reinsurance theories and concepts
  • Understand msg’s consulting processes and SAP methodologies
  • Communicate and interact effectively with clients
  • Participate in assignments and project work as individual contributor and team member
  • Work effectively with msg teams worldwide
  • Receive training and mentoring, both on-the-job and in the classroom
  • Learn to support the delivery of complex projects for Insurance and Reinsurance companies.
  • Develop the ability to analyze technical integration requirements and organize programming sequences.
  • Gain hands-on experience developing and maintaining SAP UI5 applications and integration components.
  • Learn and support data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Develop skills to prepare workflow charts and technical process diagrams.
  • Learn to program and enhance technical skills using ABAP (OO) and JavaScript.

 

What we are looking for

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • Reside in Mexico City or the State of Mexico
  • Strong consulting approach with excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).
  • Availability to travel 80%.
  • Availability to take 3 months on-site training.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico without employer sponsorship.
  • The passion and drive to be part of a continuously growing business are essential
  • Demonstrate aptitude for learning, especially related to business/functional knowledge
  • Motivation and ability to independently research and develop knowledge and skills
  • Professional presentation
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
