What we do

The Business Unit Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) provides consulting, implementation, training, architecture, and installation services for profitability and sustainability management based on SAP’s analytics solutions SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), PaPM and Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC). We co-develop the SAP PaPM application and content packages providing standard functionality for various use cases and industries. Our team combines functional, technical, and industry expertise on cost allocations, intercompany transfer pricing, product and service costing, IT costing, tax calculations, funds and liquidity transfer pricing, cost-to-serve, planning simulation, and sustainability. We help our clients in many industries across the globe become more profitable and sustainable, increase operational transparency and control, and create a better basis for decision-making. What you will do

  • Work with Regional/Country Management to develop our PaPM business, both License and Service opportunities, with clients in North America
  • Support SAP and partners in preparation of client events, compelling proposals, and workshops
  • Prepare and run presales meetings and demos (leveraging SAC and SAP PaPM) based on relevant use cases
  • Provide expertise in SAC and SAP PaPM to presales situations with clients across all industries
  • Communicate effectively with client, SAP and msg global BU and Country Management
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and prove ability to develop new markets and clients
  • Responsible for achieving key presales outcomes while adhering to business goals and deadlines
  • Look for opportunities and engage in up-selling or cross-selling to existing customers
  • Other duties as assigned


What we are looking for


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Business Management or Economics
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in analytics software solutions consulting and/or pre-sales
  • Experience in the Analytics / Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) / Corporate Performance Management (CPM) space, knowledge of FP&A and xP&A
  • Understanding of sales and presales processes, client relationship management, partner relationship management
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements, adjust direction and priorities within fast-paced and multi-faceted work environment through strong organization, time, detail, and sales management orientation
  • Adept at dealing with challenging client and presales team situations, and able to establish yourself quickly as trusted advisor to customers
  • Good understanding of core finance and accounting process such as financial budgeting and planning, allocations, profitability business processes, as well as tax, supply chain, manufacturing among others
  • A conceptual thinker with the professional consulting skills to create compelling solutions, considering business objectives as well as appropriate regulatory and technical requirements
  • Excellent presentation and written and verbal communications skills in English language, both internal and external, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
  • Visa sponsorship will be processed for the right candidate


Nice to have

  • Experience with Relational Database Management concepts and data modeling
  • Multidimensional modeling experience
  • Experience with Cloud and Hybrid-Cloud architectures
  • Knowledge of Sustainability Management and/or GHG accounting principles

  • Competitive salaries and a broad range of benefits which are highlighted below. The salary range for this position in the US are $90,000 to $125,000. Individual salaries within this range is determined by multiple factors including but not limited to skill set, experience, education and knowledge. The salary range is not inclusive of the generous discretionary bonus that is also part of the full package.
