What we do
The Analytics Business Unit provides consulting, implementation, training, architecture, and installation services for profitability and sustainability management based on SAP’s analytics solutions SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), PaPM, Sustainability Control Tower (SCT), Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC) and others. We co-develop the SAP PaPM application and content packages providing standard functionality for various use cases and industries. Our team combines functional, technical, and industry expertise on cost allocations, financial planning/budgeting, intercompany transfer pricing, product/service costing, IT costing, tax calculations, funds/liquidity transfer pricing, cost-to-serve, planning simulation, and sustainability. We help our clients in many industries across the globe become more profitable and sustainable, increase operational transparency and control, and create a better basis for decision-making. What you will do
- Help clients across multiple industries (Insurance, Banking, Retail, High Tech, etc.) by consulting and providing exceptional SAP Analytics solutions to their challenges
- Manage the successful delivery of complex projects in a fast-paced, team environment. Including changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs to keep the project plan accurate, updated, as defined
- Lead engagements and deliver high quality services on time and budget
- Support presales demos, RFP/RFI process, client demonstrations and business development initiatives
- Identify high-level risks on the projects, assumptions, and constraints. Implement approved actions and workarounds to minimize the impact of risks on the project
- Lead and assist in business development initiatives along with supporting the development of the Business Unit positioning
- Manage multiple projects and teams at the same time
- Communicate effectively with clients and msg global management
- Create and maintain analytics solutions
- Achieve key business outcomes while adhering to project scope, cost and timelines, including risk assessments and change request process
- Look for opportunities and engage in up-selling or cross-selling to existing customers
- Manage all phases of the implementation of Analytics projects including project resources
- Promote and participate in sharing expertise, strengthening msg global’ s collective knowledge
- Develop your knowledge and extend project experience in SAP’s newest and future solutions
- Support in business operational topics (e.g. recruiting)
What we are looking for
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of relevant consulting or corporate experience
- University degree (preferably in finance, accounting, controlling, computer science, or business analytics) or other equivalent experience
- Deep experience in SAP full life-cycle implementations in SAP Analytics solutions – and minimum 1 full project life cycle implementing SAP PaPM
- Experience in complex data modelling scenarios
- Project and team leadership experience
- Extensive work experience in implementations of analytical or reporting solutions in the consulting or as an advanced business user
- Understanding of financial or controlling processes, like budgeting, cost allocations, profitability or tax calculations
- Experience in managing senior-level client relationships along with upselling and cross-selling experience
- Comprehensive understanding of the technology and how it affects clients' area of the business, trends associated with the technology, value propositions for clients
- Experience in managing teams along with excellent interpersonal skills
- Business and financial acumen along with strong analytical mindset, structured and problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation and time-management skills
- Fluent in English (oral and in writing)
- Ability to travel up to 80 %
- Must be legally authorized to work in XXX without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Nice to have
- Technical or functional expertise in SAP applications / modules like SAC, BW, HANA, BPC, PCM, COPA or S/4
- Technical expertise in SAP, preferably knowledge of HANA, SQL and BW modelling
- Master's degree or MBA (preferably in finance, accounting, computer science, business analytics) or related field
- Fluent in local language in the country of employment (oral and in writing)

- Competitive salaries and a broad range of benefits which are highlighted below. The salary range for this position in the US are $110,000 to $180,000. Individual salaries within this range is determined by multiple factors including but not limited to skill set, experience, education and knowledge. The salary range is not inclusive of the generous discretionary bonus that is also part of the full package.
