What you will do​

​

As a Senior Consultant, you will design, develop, and optimize high-performance applications leveraging SAP HANA and its native development environments (XSC and XSA).

You will play a key role in enabling advanced data processing, analytics, and integration across enterprise systems, ensuring scalable and efficient digital architectures.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement SAP HANA–based solutions aligned with business and performance goals.
  • Developing efficient data models (Calculation Views, SQLScript, Procedures, Functions) that support analytical and transactional workloads.
  • Designing and implementing ETL and data integration processes to load and transform data from multiple source systems.
  • Conducting performance optimization using tools such as PlanViz, partitioning strategies, and indexing.
  • Ensuring data governance, security, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting technical issues related to SAP HANA configurations, models, or code.
  • Collaborating with data scientists, architects, and business analysts to translate complex requirements into robust HANA solutions.


What we are looking for​

​

Requirements​

 

  • Strong knowledge of XS Classic (XSJS) and XS Advanced (Node.js/Java) frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with HDI Containers, role management, and privilege configuration.
  • Expertise in OData/REST service exposure, security, and authorization concepts.
  • Experience with migration from XSC to XSA, including refactoring, dependency handling, and deployment pipelines.
  • Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and transport mechanisms (HDI/MTAR).
  • Ability to design native HANA applications following best practices and integrate them seamlessly with S/4HANA and external systems.

 

Nice to have​

 

  • SAP Certifications in S/4HANA or HANA Development
  • Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Cloud Foundry environment
  • Travel availability
  • Experience with CAP (Node.js/Java), Business Application Studio, and cloud-native development
