Finance and Accounting Associate

This is a 2 years fixed term position, with a possibility to turn into a permanent one after the specified period.
What you will do:
- Correspondence with local and international vendors and customers
- Receiving of vendor invoices and delivery of every invoice to the local accounting agency
- Invoicing process: issuing monthly invoices and sending them to international vendors and to the accounting agency
- Month-end bookkeeping partial control: partial control of monthly bookkeeping report under supervision
- Fixed assets reporting: reporting to the group accounting team about bought and sold assets on a monthly basis
- Organizing and preparing payments to local and international vendors, via bank on-line platform
- Cash Flow reporting and controlling of cash status on monthly level; collection and treasury
- Control of travel reports of employees and being the Travel Policy point of contact
- Documentation management: archiving of invoices, contracts and other financial and business documentation
- Gathering, analyzing, summarizing and interpreting various financial data
- Upgrade job knowledge by keeping current with financial regulations and accepted practices, participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications
- Monthly and weekly administrative tasks such as ordering and distributing food vouchers, receiving and sending mail etc. (10% of the time or less)
What experience/knowledge/skills you should have:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or similar field
- Work experience in similar position is desirable
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal stakeholders
- Ability to provide accurate and efficient service under the pressure of deadlines
- Ability to work with a high degree of self-direction and flexibility, especially with respect to taking initiative, prioritizing tasks and using good judgment to resolve problems
- Detail-oriented with a high level of organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively
- Proficient in the usage of MS Office tools
- Fluent in English and Bulgarian
