What you will do

 

The HR Lead Eastern Europe will be part of our Global HR organization and work closely with the Country Managers for Bulgaria, Croatia and Serbia to support the achievement of organizational and country goals and objectives through ownership of the following responsibilities

•    Steer, execute and promote HR programs and initiatives in line with global and regional business strategies and objectives to support the growth and development of the business and its people
•    Lead a team of strong HR professionals across the aforementioned entities and foster their further growth through individual development and mentorship
•    Take over full responsibility for all HR activities in the region such as Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Organizational and People Development, Compensation & Benefits including Payroll Administration and work together with the local HR team on the continuous optimization of these
•    Partner closely with Country Management, Business Unit Leads and local people managers, provide guidance and coaching on all HR related matters and ensure proper level of integration and collaboration between various stakeholders in the matrix organization with global structures
•    Ensure optimal and up to date local HR policies, processes and tools in compliance with global HR, local requirements and country legislation and make sure they are correctly executed and adhered to 

•    Drive initiatives related to employer attractiveness e.g. annual employee survey and other employee engagement activities, work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention to keep our footprint as employer of choice
•    Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates, lead HR planning and reporting in the region
•    Be an active member of the Global HR community and support global HR projects and initiatives
•    Build trustful relationships with other internal departments and stakeholders as well as external partners


What we are looking for

 

•    Successfully completed university studies in business administration or a comparable qualification or degree preferably with main subject in HR 
•    Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Human Resources ideally gained in the IT industry with minimum 3 years of experience leading a team
•    Profound knowledge of multiple HR disciplines such as Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Engagement and Relations etc.
•    Good knowledge of Employment & Labor Law regulations in the aforementioned countries
•    Independent and thorough way of working, ability to balance priorities in a highly dynamic and international working environment with attention to detail
•    Aptitude in problem-solving and desire to work as a team with a results driven approach and ability to proactively drive projects and bring them to closure
•    Very good communication and stakeholder management skills with service and result orientation as well as positive attitude and hands-on mentality
•    Fluent in English, Serbian and/or Bulgarian and/or Croatian
