Businesss UNIT Analytics

The Business Unit Profitability and Performance Management (BU PaPM) is responsible for our analytics business with SAP PaPM at the core and currently extending its scope to SAP SAC and DWC. With our solutions and services, we help our clients across the globe to create more transparency about their business, provide better basis for decision making and increase efficiency & profitability. The solutions we offer to our clients are often industry specific as Cost-to-Serve for Retail or Planning & Simulation for Insurance, or focus on a certain functional area like Transfer Pricing, Profitability or Sustainability.

Role Introduction 

The SAP Analytics Cloud Consultant is part of our global SAC-PaPM Task Force Team and works with clients and team members on SAC implementations and programs. The main responsibilities of this role are the development and presentation of demo content, creation of training and enablement programs, implementation services for clients, and coordination with presales and other key stakeholders. The individual will deliver results through unparalleled professionalism leveraging a superior consultative approach and strong knowledge and expertise of msg’s products and related services.
 

Your responsibilities at msg global

• Provide expertise in creating SAC models (analytical and planning) and dashboards
• Demonstrate knowledge of SAC planning, advanced calculations, and allocation capabilities
• Demonstrate knowledge of SAC administration, connectivity, transports, and security
• Lead/Support engagements and workstreams to deliver high quality services on time and budget
• Support presales demos, including RFP’s and client demonstrations
• Work productively and collaboratively with clients and a team of consultants
• Communicate effectively with client and msg global management
• Achieve key business outcomes while adhering to project goals and deadlines
• Look for opportunities and engage in up-selling or cross-selling to existing customers

What we're looking for

• Technical and functional expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud planning, reporting and dashboards required
• Technical expertise in building SAC Analytic Applications
• Technical and functional expertise in SAP applications / modules, including SAP PaPM, BW, BPC, PCM, HANA, COPA and/or S/4 preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients to understand requirements, create solution designs and implement high quality solutions
• Ability to support projects and teams under stressful and dynamic circumstances
• Good understanding of core finance and accounting process such as financial budgeting and planning, allocations, profitability business processes, as well tax, supply chain, manufacturing, among others
• Combine strong analytical and conceptual skills with can-do attitude and hands on mentality
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• The ability to excel in a global team environment, effectively communicate and achieve results
• Fluency in English, written and oral

Education and Experience

• University degree(s) in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Business Management or Computer Science
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Solution Implementation Experience in the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) / Corporate Performance Management (CPM) space
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in full life-cycle implementations of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning and/or Dashboards
• Technical and functional experience in SAP applications / modules, including SAP PaPM, BW, BPC, PCM, HANA, COPA and/or S/4 preferred
• Experience in full life-cycle planning projects in a support role
• Planning, reporting and dashboard technical solution experience required
