What We Do

 

Sales is responsible for selling to both new and existing customers. Assesses customer needs and suggest products, services, and solutions. Develops and delivers sales recommendations to prospects and customers. Responsible for identifying prospective customers, qualifying, building, and managing opportunity pipeline, building relationships, and maintaining customers. Also responsible for the design, development, and implementation of sales programs to meet business goals.


What you will do
 

  • Engage with targeted prospective customers to identify customer challenges and business pains, and then articulate how SAP’s solutions can address those challenges to unlock identified value
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers and senior executives
  • Collaborate with SAP Account Executives and SAP Canada leadership team, to accelerate sales and expand market presence for the SAP Profitability and Performance Management Profitability (PaPM) including sales of implementation services for SAP PaPM
  • In addition to SAP PaPM services sales, the role will also involve selling implementation services for SAP Agriculture and Manufacturing inclusive of Meat & Fish, Dairy Management, Intelligent Agriculture, Agriculture Contract Management
  • Align SAP solutions with customer's strategic objectives and develop account plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Manage multiple complex sales opportunities at the same time
  • While your primary focus will be on positioning and selling SAP Analytics inclusive of SAP SAC and PaPM, you will maintain a broad and deep understanding of SAP's portfolio and industry trends
  • Plan and coordinate sales activities in collaboration with presales teams
  • Prepare RFI and RFP responses
  • Deliver highly effective presentations to VP through C-level executives and key C-suite level decision makers including CFOs, CROs, and senior leaders in finance, operations, supply chain, sales, and other business functions
  • Work closely with SAP and other partners to qualify and develop business opportunities
  • Follow up after contract signature acting as the voice of the customer to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Stay informed on industry trends and market developments to stay competitive in the market
  • Attend and network relevant business events
  • Other duties as assigned


What we are looking for

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field or equivalent years of experience
  • A minimum of ten years consultative sales experience into Fortune 2000 companies, ideally in selling SaaS solutions and services
  • A minimum of five years of sales experience in SAP solutions
  • Working knowledge of the SAP Solution suite
  • Positive attitude, high motivation, innovative thinking, and passion for creating value for customers
  • Success selling into the highest levels of accounts with a focus on the C-Suite
  • Business acumen and knowledge of multiple industries such as insurance, banking, consumer goods, energy, retail, transportation, and other verticals
  • Track record of overachieving sales quota & targets, including shown history of multiple seven-figure annual contract value (ACV) deals (services and/or software)
  • Strong senior executive network in your territory with customers and partners in relevant industry
  • Proven communication and presentation skills in English language and ability to maintain solid network and relationships
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
