Senior Consultant Insurance Accounting/Actuarial

​​​​​What will you do?

  • Customer guidance in configuration of SAP FPSL and actively support the system configuration at customer site
  • Analyze requirements using IFRS17 or US GAAP
  • Perform detailed analysis of business requirements and provide recommendations for functional and technical strategies and approaches to client requirements
  • Lead workshops to define and document scope
  • Achieve key business outcomes while maintaining high quality
  • Obtain consent from client to move forward with the project
  • Build and maintain customer relationships at the appropriate levels
  • Facilitate complex issue resolution that arise during implementation
  • Lead small projects in SAP FPSL
  • Evaluate requirements and estimate time and resources needed for completion
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to define and understand the requirements and then explain the system solution
  • Work with multi-functional/technical teams to prioritize the work and drive system solutions by clearly articulating business needs
  • Coordinate with teams to get development moving forward
  • Prepare reports and presentations for clients / internal management for project tracking and updates
  • Flexible for both domestic and international short term/long term travel

 

What experience you should have?

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field

Experience: minimum of 5 years of Actuarial/Accounting experience

  • Advanced familiarity with a wide variety of actuarial functions and IFRS 17 Methodologies
  • Knowledge in SAP FI module is an advantage
  • Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), starting from Pre-sales, Requirements gathering, Analysis/Design, Development, and Testing
  • Apply advanced actuarial techniques across all tasks
  • Ability to understand client requirements and recommend the best solutions
  • Reconcile and analyze actuarial inputs and outputs
  • Analytical and conceptional ability and quick grasp
  • Project experience on implementation projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Confident in presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) 
  • Ability to maintain and build client relationships
  • Effective communication and coordination skills between Client and globally located teams
  • Travel 50-75% - remote during pandemic
